All of the Lawnbott models can be set to mow all times of the day or night. The grass can be slippery, especially in the early morning before the dew has burned off. The spiked wheels look good and help the Lawnbott have better traction at these times. If your lot has hilly terrain, the wheel upgrade is essential because at times when the grass is somewhat damp, additional traction ensures a successful climb. The spiked wheels are added to the outside of the standard wheels and are very easy to install yourself. |

Three Lawnbott models have expandable coverage: the LB3500, the LB3210 and the LB2150. That is, you can add battery(ies) at the time of purchase or later. If you decide to purchase a battery upgrade for the LB3500, you must purchase two batteries. The LB3210 and LB2150 have only one battery expansion slot. Follow the easy measurement methods to determine whether you need to add one or two Lithium Ion batteries. Lead Acid batteries are not used in models with expandable coverage. Purchase two if you would like to have an extra pair on hand or if you need to replace your current Lead Acid batteries. Two Lead acid batteries are used in the LB2000, LB2100 and the LB2110. Lithium Ion rechargeable battery technology is newer, more environmentally friendly and widely adopted in rechargeable devices like cell phones and lap tops. Lead Acid technology is older, less costly and less environmentally friendly. Remember to dispose of old batteries at a battery recycling center rather than in the trash. |
Do I need an extra battery? |
|
This accessory is required for keeping your battery in top condition over the winter. If you live in an area of the country where grass grows year-round, then you do not need this accessory. |
How about the winter charger kit? |

If your lawn requires more than 2000 feet of perimeter wire, you will need to purchase the signal booster. The signal booster may help if you choose the bury the perimeter wire. The manufacturer does not recommend burying the wire. This can interfere with the signal. Some customers choose to do this anyway. The wire can be buried up to four inches. The signal booster could improve performance when the wire is buried. |

A new, sharp blade ensures top mulching performance, which means better lawn fertilization. Purchase an extra blade with your initial order so you will have one on hand next year. Blade replacement is simple and easy to do yourself. To obtain maximum life out of your existing blade, you can turn it over to use the four unused sharp edges. You may also carefully sharpen the blade with a Dremel tool for longer blade life (call for details). |

The first step to select the appropriate model is to review the features of each and decide if there is any particular feature that is a “must have” for your situation. For example, you can measure your hill slopes. If you have hills with angles of elevation greater than 12°, you will not purchase the LB2110. All other models are suitable for slopes up to 27 degrees. Similarly, if your lot is very large, you may need to make some measurements to estimate the lawn area. Lawnbott Order Assistance |

The easiest way to determine if you need more perimeter wire is to first perform Step 3 of the Installation Overview. Now that you know what areas you want the mower to avoid, you know the areas where you need to make some measurements. Use the figure in Step 4 of the Installation Overview as a guideline and measure the additional perimeter wire lengths with a tape measure. Next, measure your lot or obtain your lot dimensions from your “plat of survey”. Add up the lot dimensions and the additional measurements you took above. This will be the total amount of perimeter wire you need. Purchase 200 pegs for each additional 500 feet of wire your lawn requires. |

Do I need a cover for the charging base? |
|
All models come with a recharging garage, except the LB3500 which only comes with the base. If you are not installing your LB3500 under a deck or in a shed, purchase the recharging base cover to protect it from the elements. |
Are the Wheelie Bars really necessary? |
|
Wheelie bars prevent Lawnbott from lifting its nose on a hill. The LB3500 does not need wheelie bars. The LB3250/LB3210/LB2150 models may benefit from the wheelie bars if your hills are extra steep. The wheelie bars are easy to install yourself. |

Why should I purchase a remote? |
|
Usually your Lawnbott will keep your lawn mowed and a remote is not necessary. However, during the fast growing season the remote would be handy to drive the Lawnbott to unmowed patches of grass rather than wait for the Lawnbott to find them. A remote is also handy if you have sections of grass that are separate from the rest of your lawn so you can drive the Lawnbott to the other section rather than carry it. LB2150 and LB2110 are compatible with the RF remote but do not come with it. Order the remote control upgrade at time of purchase as it must be factory/dealer installed. |
How about the alarm? |
|
Two models, the LB2150 and LB2110 do not come with the alarm. The alarm may be professionally installed at the time of your order. Simply order the alarm and allow 5 extra days for delivery. |
